Rise in demand for law firms as Knights PLC acquires South West counterpart

The demand for legal businesses has increased despite Covid-19, as a leading UK law company has acquired a commercial firm in a deal worth £2.1m.

Knights PLC, a legal and professional services provider with over 900 advisors delivering first-class services to clients across the UK has scooped OTB Eveling, a commercial law company based in Exeter.

The deal will see Knights PLC move into the South West region as it continues its journey to become the leading name in UK law.

The Company says trading has continued to recover in September and October was able to remove all previously announced salary cost-reductions from November 1st.

The move highlights the strengths in the law firms’ sector as more businesses are seeing their financial performance return to pre-Covid levels.
