Altius Group Welcomes New Contact Centre Director
Altius Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Whiteside as Contact Centre Director.
The well-established food distributor, based in Yorkshire, has been acquired by existing business owners.
Craven Bacon Supplies was founded by the present owner back in 1983 and the business has earned an enviable reputation for offering quality, fresh produce with a reliable and friendly service. The company subsequently boasts an extensive and loyal customer base delivering to approximately 50 outlets whilst enjoying regular referrals and recommendations.
Craven Bacon Supplies occupies a convenient and accessible position on a small trading estate just a short drive from the A629, with the major commuter routes close by. The business is ideally placed for servicing customers who are located in the neighbouring towns and villages. The company operates from a modern industrial unit which is well appointed with an extensive range of valuable high-quality equipment and refrigeration.
After 37 years of successfully operating the company, our clients decided now was the perfect time to enter retirement and they placed Craven Bacon Supplies on the market. Recognising Kings Corporate as the foremost brokerage in the retail and licence sector, we were formally instructed to facilitate the sale. After only two viewings, the business was sold.
The purchaser of the company is Drake and Macefield Limited, a well-respected business owner with multiple butchers’ shops across Yorkshire, who wants to add to their product range using a well-known local business.
Upon completion of the sale, the vendor was delighted with the overall service and that a quick sale was delivered.
The vendor said: “I was overjoyed with the sale we made through Kings Corporate after just a couple of months on the market. Adam Dell’Armi was the negotiator dealing with the transaction and he kept in touch with us on a regular basis, providing assurance in a professional, personal and calm manner.
Moving forward, the new owner now seeks to maintain the excellent reputation of the business by continuing to offer a wide variety of products with friendly customer service.
The buyer said: “Thank you to Adam Dell’Armi at Kings for firstly securing the deal and then persevering through lockdown to ensure we were able to conclude the purchase later in the year. Sophie Jakeman greatly assisted in getting the deal over the line alongside Adam, working well as a team. I would definitely recommend their service.”
Lead Negotiator Adam Dell’Armi commented: “It was a pleasure to help Mr and Mrs Baxandall find the right buyer by negotiating and agreeing the deal. I wish our clients the very best in their retirement and hope our buyers have great success in their new venture.”
