The Other Place sold by Kings Business

A well-respected public house with a function suite based in South Wales has been sold by Kings Business.

The Other Place, situated in historic town of Pontardawe, has been successfully owned by our client for the last 13 years and is close to some of the most outstanding areas in its region.

Located just off one of the main input roads by a roundabout and set close to a housing estate, the pub is very popular with the locals and tourists alike, enjoying repeat custom.

The property has a traditional feel with a main bar area and function room including a three-bedroom apartment. The pub has tremendous scope to expand its service by offering food to its customers as it boasts a fully commercial kitchen.

After running the pub for a number of years, the vendor wished to sell The Other Place to pursue other business interests. After Kings Business was instructed in the sale, our in-depth marketing campaign produced significant interest and the pub was quickly sold to a corporate buyer.

The reputation, location, business performance and quality of the current landlord is what attracted the buyer to The Other Place and plans are in motion to continue the growth of the business.

Senior Sales Negotiator Adam Dell’Armi said: “This was really pleasing sale given the difficulties in the licensed industry currently.

“It proves that there are still quality buyers out there for these businesses so if you are thinking about selling your pub business, please give Kings Business a call. “I wish both parties the best in their new venture together.”
