Altius Group Welcomes New Contact Centre Director
Altius Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Whiteside as Contact Centre Director.
Everyone at Altius Group would like to say how proud we are of our team continuing to engage with and support our local communities.
Last week we organised a food bank donation to support the vital work of Luv Preston. Luv Preston was founded by the current director’s Jack and Sue McVicar in 2004 and registered as an official charity in 2009.
Luv Preston’s dedicated team of volunteers deliver food parcels weekly to those in need of emergency food provisions and work with people to refer them to other support and help them find longer-term sustainable solutions.
In 2020, our staff were inspired by Marcus Rashford’s campaign to end child food poverty. Since then, we have made it our mission to help as many families as possible through a commitment to holding regular food bank donation events to help children and parents in Preston.
Director at LuvPreston, Jack McVicar said, “During the height of the pandemic, we were delivering 120 food parcels every week. Food poverty is impacting more and more people in the city and we are reliant on the generosity of companies like Altius Group to help others.”
Andrew K Steen, Sales & Marketing Director at Altius Group added, “Supporting local charities and our community has also been a key part of our mission. Time and time again, our staff make us proud through their commitment to this. Our new office at Eaves Brook House will increase our capacity to support community causes our staff care about.”
